Today I am sunbathing on my deck in Wexford. Ballymoney. Spend every weekend here. Often with the grandkids. Ahhh. Memories Tom. Jam tarts across the road in that sweet shop. And penny cigs or maybe they cost more. Don’t smoke now thank God. AMDG. . Gone but never forgotten.
The sunny South-East! I envy you having grandkids. My three daughters have yet to produce progeny but it's entirely up to them, of course. I hugely enjoy my grand-nephews and nieces. Yes, the jam tarts! I think the cigarettes might have been 5p. I remember you could buy 20 Marlboro for 38p and a pint for the same in 1976/77. Like yourself, I no longer smoke - except a few roll-ups exclusively when I am off the island of Ireland and even then, just occasionally. AMDG indeed!

Nice one Tom. It's a long way from the Tuck Shop in Belvo.
John, it's you! It is indeed - and far from Brother Mac's mince tart in the ref. Hope all is good with you? Where on the planet are you these days?
